The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest of the Egyptian pyramids and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

Located on the Giza Plateau near Cairo, it was built during the Fourth Dynasty around 2580–2560 BC as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu.

Standing originally at 146.6 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.

The pyramid is made of millions of limestone blocks, each weighing several tons, and its construction remains a remarkable feat of engineering and labor. The Great Pyramid is one of the most iconic symbol of ancient Egypt and continues to be a significant focus of archaeological study and tourism.
